Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Red Flag Radar Check, shown in the installed app as Red Flag Radar, handles information in connection with the iOS app, support communication and these GitHub Pages legal pages.

Short version: Red Flag Radar Check is designed to be local-first. Reflection content, answers, analyses, clarity scores, favorites, saved texts, calm entries and weekly history are intended to stay on your device unless you choose to share them or contact support.

Scope

This policy covers the Red Flag Radar Check iOS app, support emails and the legal pages hosted for the app. The installed app may use the shorter name Red Flag Radar. Apple processes App Store downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds and related account data under Apple’s own terms and privacy framework.

What the app processes

What we do not use in the current version

No user account is required.
No provider-operated cloud sync.
No provider server upload of private reflection content.
No third-party analytics SDK.
No crash reporting SDK.
No advertising tracking.
No sale of personal data.

Legal bases under GDPR

Contract performance or pre-contract steps for providing app functionality and support, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Legal obligations where records must be kept, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Legitimate interests for website security, support handling and abuse prevention, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Consent where a feature explicitly asks for it, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Health, relationship and emotional information

Red Flag Radar Check may help you reflect on emotionally sensitive situations. You should avoid entering unnecessary identifying details about yourself or others. The app is not designed as a medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, legal, emergency or crisis service.

Emergency note: If you or another person may be in danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately. Do not rely on the app for urgent or safety-critical decisions.

Storage and deletion

Local app data remains on your device unless you delete it, delete the app, use an in-app delete/reset option where available, or share/export it yourself. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to answer and document the request, subject to legal retention duties.

Your GDPR rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection where applicable. You may also complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Processors and third parties

Apple: App Store downloads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, refunds and entitlement infrastructure.
Email provider: Support communication if you contact us.
GitHub Pages: Hosting of these legal pages.

These providers may process data under their own terms and may use infrastructure outside your country. Where legally required, appropriate safeguards should apply.

Deine Reflexionsinhalte, Antworten, Ergebnisse, Favoriten und gespeicherten Texte sollen grundsätzlich auf deinem Gerät bleiben. Es gibt in der aktuellen Version keinen Account, keine Analytics, kein Crash SDK, keinen Cloud Sync des Anbieters und kein Werbetracking.
